The Babadağ cable car — from sea level to 1960m.
The Babadağ teleferik carries passengers from a base station near Ölüdeniz up toward the mountain's launch area in around 12–15 minutes, climbing over pine forest with the Blue Lagoon shrinking beneath you.
It's operated separately from Atmos Paragliding — if your pilot uses the teleferik for your transfer, tickets are handled as part of the process; independent sightseers can also ride it on their own.
The teleferik generally runs daily during the flying season (April–October), with reduced hours or closures possible in poor weather or off-season. Single and return tickets are sold at the base station or online with a QR code for faster boarding — see our dedicated QR ticket guide for step-by-step instructions.
The teleferik is the faster of the two ascent options and gives a very different perspective — an almost vertical view down through the forest canopy rather than the switchback road view. Both get you to the same general launch area; which one you use for your flight usually depends on your pilot's plan for the day and conditions.
Around 12–15 minutes from the base station to the upper station, depending on wind and operating speed.
If your transfer uses the teleferik, this is arranged as part of your flight package — you don't need to buy a separate ticket yourself.
It generally operates daily through the flying season (April–October), though hours can vary and it may close temporarily in strong wind or bad weather.
See our QR ticket guide for the full step-by-step process, including how to download your ticket before you arrive at the station.
